Augmented Reality gives students who are trapped at home, an option to venture out and see the world around us. This gives a deeper understanding and more substance to things we might not usually be able to share with students.

The spider part of the book she showed on augmented reality was creepy, to say the least because of the spider, but think of all the possibilities! Think about students learning about the body or parts of biology. I’ve seen AR on the periodic table that was fantastic.

If we, as adults, are excited about AR can you imagine how engaged a student will be?

In the Fall of 2017, my college class created an AR using Aurasma. HP Reveal has taken it over at this point. I encourage you to get in and play with it a bit. If you download HP Reveal and look at this image you’ll find it connects to a video I took of jellyfish.
